Journey's End

Clear and bright, straw with a hint of green. Expressive fruit, initially lemon and citrus, but under that, it?s more tropical and pineapple, all seamed through with crushed almond, savoury oak tones.

The Destination is the pinnacle of white winemaking at Journey’s End. This wine is characterized by a sweeping spread of rich fruit and is given texture and resonance from generous oaking.

Fresh and approachable with a refined red fruit profile. Notes of sweet plum and vanilla are layered on the palate, balanced by a savoury finish. Well-made and stylish with excellent intensity.

This has a fresh nose with lovely warm fruit aromatics, its full and rich on the palate, with a high acidity leaving a lovely creamy crisp finish. Balanced and superbly structured, the flavours are complimented by a delicate minerality and tropical fruit flavours.

Quite a herbaceous nose with clean black fruit, dried prunes and undertones of fynbos. This leads to a juicy palate packed with black cherry and blackcurrant, with a long spicy finish.

The Griffin is a mythical creature symbolising divine power. This is a unique product in our range and one that is unlike many wines tasted before. Having undergone 30% Carbonic Maceration, this Syrah underwent the usual Journey’s End precision treatment. A delightfully fruity nose, follows through into a complex but soft pallet.

Displays rich dark red fruit aromas including blackcurrant, ripe cherries, hints of cassis and subtle dark chocolate spice. These aromas are also experienced on the palate and are accompanied by sweet tobacco and Christmas cake characters. This wine has a well-integrated tannic structure showing elegance and lengthy finish.

Enticing blackcurrant pastilles and mulberry aromas are uplifted with subtle cinnamon and aromatic white pepper. The palate is gentle and the tannins fresh but rounded. The aromatics continue into the palate with added blueberry, red cherry, plums, a hint of roasted black olives and soft-spoken sweet spice. A versatile, vibrant medium-bodied wine, with a lengthy and elegant finish. Spicy notes, including hints of nutmeg with bright red cherry and plum fruit. Finally, the rich fullness and lengthy complexity from the ensures an excellent finish that makes this a delicious wine!

Wine has a deep purple ruby color. Finely crafted to portray layers of cherry, soft prune, blackcurrant, and hints of black pepper spice. The aromatics continue into the palate with added blueberry, a hint of roasted black olives and soft-spoken sweet spice.

This wine has tropical guava flavours coalesced with passion fruit and underlying vanilla flavours. It has a fresh nose with lovely warm fruit aromatics, its full and rich on the palate, with a high acidity leaving a lovely creamy crisp finish. Balanced and superbly structured, the flavours are complimented by a delicate minerality and tropical fruit flavours.

A complex beautifully made wine, smoky, spicy, with dark-toned fruit, a hint of asphalt.

This unique Rosé was carefully crafted with abundance of succulent strawberry, luscious cherry and raspberry flavours with subtle rose petal undertones and hints of peach and apricot, that forms a surprisingly delicious and peach blossom experience, with the slightly oaked barrel taste gives it unique structure on the pallet, also rounding off and balancing the tannins and acidity, to leave a nice smooth mouth feel. Serve between 7 – 9 0C for best results.

A bright hue with a golden straw colour. It displays a refreshing nose of bright pear and orange blossoms with subtle citrus notes of freshly rolled oats. A medium-bodied wine with great palate tension. Crisp apple and chalky citrus are infused with mild layers of Crème Brulé. The flavours are vibrant, and the finish refined.
